LAUP is targeting November 2008 as the date for its first ever Hispanic Youth Leadership Conference. Elements of the day will include a keynote speaker who will challenge the students to fulfill their potential as individuals who can reach high goals and become persons who give back to their community in positive ways.

Workshops will be tailored to adress the unique challenges of Hispanic students.

Additionally, colleges, universities, and businesses will be invited to display and present their opportunities for students.
